We designed this home from the ground up for our comfort. It includes some unique features and I'll explain some recent upgrades which made this home "Energy Efficient" with electric bills below $100 most months. The construction is CBS (Concrete Block System) built to the highest code value at the time of construction by Peck Bros Construction. Peck was recommended to us by three unsolicited people, a boat dealer, and two bankers. We found nothing negative on file about Peck Bros Construction and made our choice based on that. We were not disappointed. The home is a three bedroom, split plan with the Master bedroom and bath on the South side of the home and bedrooms two and three on the North side. The second full bathroom is just off the guest bedrooms. In between the bedrooms are the living room, dinning room, and kitchen in an open area setting. The home features 10' ceilings, large ceiling fans, wide pocket patio door leading to the large Lanai and Pool combined area. With patio door opened the dinning room and Lanai become one huge entertaining area with easy access to the kitchen. The kitchen features a pass through window for getting food to the Lanai or easy clean up passing food and dishes back to the kitchen. The kitchen has a couple of other nice upgrades. First, the cabinets are taller than standard allow more than ample storage for utensils and china. Also, two of the floor cabinets have built-in removable cutting boards. And still another kitchen upgrade feature, the kitchen island is built 4" taller than standard height. You will be amazed how that little extra height makes a difference when baking. Enter the Master bedroom through French doors and the great fireplace greats you with its River Rock facade and magnificent one of a kind Cyprus wood mantle from Arizona. The fireplace simply needs a gas insert and connection to the propane source just outside the chimney and those chilly winter nights will be history. Another special design feature in the Master is the unique "walk through" closet with doors on either side of the bed. Sort of a "his and hers" entry. How you divide the space is up to you. Entry to the house is through wide double French doors making moving in an easy task or through the garage. Upgrades: 2016 - added the "Attic Blanket" with Solar Powered attic exhaust fan. 2016 - new solid vinyl flooring throughout. 2017 - upgraded and increased the size of the heat pump heating and air conditioning unit. 2018 - upgraded all the windows to PGT 5400 White Vinyl Single Hung Insulated Clear Low-E Glass with Screens. 2018 - Chimney was rebuilt do to some storm damage. 2018 - new garage door opener. 2019 - Home was power washed and repainted.
