This is a nature lovers paradise with trails through the redwoods down to a creek and waterfall. All utilities plus wifi are included in the rental price. Kitchenette includes microwave, Induction Cooktop, hot plate and refrigerator. It has a built in custom cabinet with sink and drawers. It features an island cabinet with plenty of counter space for food prep and space below to store pots and pans. The new laminate flooring is beautiful. The entry porch and front door have been freshly painted, ready to welcome you! Scotts Valley shopping is five minutes away; Santa Cruz is fifteen minutes; San Jose International Airport is forty minutes. My wife and I live in SLO county. We use the upstairs as our own get-a-way with friends and family. The downstairs is well insulated from sounds upstairs. My wife and I are recently retired. For 14 years we welcomed international students to our Cal Poly San Luis Obispo University. We were with a Christian non-profit called "International Students Inc." We made friends with students from 32 nations. These friendships continue to enrich our lives. This lease is a short term lease, from two to nine months, starting as early as September 2nd , 2025 and ending June 15th, 2026. This apartment is ideal for one person, possibly two. Applicant pays $49.99 to "Rent Spree. Rent Spree does online rental application, credit report, background check and income verification. Cost is taken off the first month's rent if applicant is chosen. First and last month's rent will be required to move in. The fully refundable last month's deposit will be held to cover any damages or cleaning needs that may occur. No smoking. No parties. This is a quiet, friendly neighborhood in the forest. There is off street parking. Tenant is responsible to move the trash cans to the street on Monday nights and return them the next evening. Tenant will be responsible to keep the stairway swept that leads to the porch entrance. There is a a laundry room downstairs. Part of the lease agreement would be that we are allowed to do our laundry when we are staying upstairs. We would give advance notice of course. It would be rare for us to use it, once a month max.
