The iron spiral staircase was replaced with a traditional cypress one and the custom made railing were crafted by the artisans at Gainesville Iron Works. New gourmet kitchen was installed with top of the line appliances, two sinks, Corian counters and custom made Shaker style cabinets. It opens to a gathering room/ dining area and the staircase Room. Off of two bedrooms upstairs, the two cracker sleeping porches overlooking the pool atrium were converted to dressing rooms, ideal for exercise equipment or office/library space. The master bedroom has a luxury bath and French doors that lead out onto a balcony/deck area. The third bedroom upstairs also has French doors to its own balcony/deck. Across the back or the house upstairs is a large family room with access to the attic and a door to the balcony/deck. A new hall bathroom has been installed upstairs. There is a zoned heating and cooling system with a high SEER rating and an Aprilaire filter system. A new compressor and dehumidifier were recently installed. An efficient gas tankless heater supplies hot water. All pipes under the slab have been replaced and new sewer pipes were installed to the street. Electrical amperage was upgraded to 200. New switches and lighting were installed throughout. Downstairs is wired for a comprehensive house speaker system. Decorative pavers were installed to create a double driveway, stairway and open patio area at the entrance.
