The owners named the home 22 Oak Estate for the 22 foot circumference oak in the front yard. The property has multiple mature oaks surrounding an open lawn in addition to the long meandering oak-lined driveway. The house is on the site of the old 'Anderson' home. Anderson Creek, which is one of the main creeks to the enormous Bulls Bay, is directly across the waterway from the house. Through it you can boat to secluded beaches on Bull Island that are part of the Wildlife Refuge that will never be developed. Perhaps because of its proximity to Anderson Creek, dolphins are regularly seen from the dock. This area has some of the best fishing and shrimping around, with local guides heading up this way to catch the local favorite Redfish. Also easily caught of the dock. The neighborhood roads are gravel (it is equestrian friendly), but they are considering paving them. Horses (but NOT other farm animals) are allowed in the gated community. Fiber optic internet is currently being installed. In the past, the house has had rental income of approximately $60,000/yr.
