Whether you're here to relax, explore, or reconnect, this home is THE perfect base. THE SPACE Step inside and stretch out, this home was made for gathering. Each of the five bedrooms is thoughtfully furnished with fresh linens, comfortable mattresses, and its own TV for private relaxation. The primary suite features a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, and ensuite bath. Two more queen rooms can be found on this upper level. Heading down to the basement there is another king room and a second room with two queen beds providing flexibility for any group. The additional sleeping area includes a twin sofa sleeper, making it great for kids or an extra guest. The open-concept living room includes a couple cozy couches and a 75" Smart TV, perfect for movie nights or catching the game. The kitchen is stocked with cooking essentials, full-sized appliances, and a dining area ready for big breakfasts or evening takeout. The following animals stop by all the time to eat the grass, take a nap, or just take in the breathtaking view of the front range from the top of the ridge: rabbits, deer, elk, wild turkeys, fox, coyotes, an occasional bob cat. *These are WILD animals and it's best to admire them from a distance. LOCATION Located in a quiet Monument neighborhood, you'll enjoy a peaceful retreat nestled in the beautiful stands of Ponderosa pines which grow abundantly throughout the Palmer Ridge and Monument Pass areas. With easy access to the U. S. Air Force Academy, historic downtown Monument, Colorado Springs, I-25, and nearby nature trails, parks, and local shops, you're close to it all while having a serene place to return home to at the end of the day. The cities of Castle Rock and Denver, Denver International Airport, and passes up to the ski areas are easily accessible to the north. The cities of Manitou Springs and Woodland Park, Colorado Springs Airport, and the route up to Pikes Peak are easily accessible to the south. Please be respectful of the neighbors and abide by ALL house rules or face a violation fine. - The community observes quiet evening hours starting at 9PM, so please be respectful. - Woodmoor has a very strict "No- Fireworks, No Open Fire, Wood Burning Ban". The propane fireplace IS allowed and serves the purpose well. The fines for open fires and fireworks begin at $5000. - Winter months do bring the occasional snowfall in Colorado and the potential for icy road conditions, we advise guests to consider opting for a vehicle equipped with 4WD (Four-Wheel Drive) or AWD (All-Wheel Drive) for a safer and more secure travel accommodations. - Please be aware, that there is NO mailbox access at this home.
