Lord Jesus bless you! Briefly but most importantly: Jesus, the sinless Son of God died on the cross for our sins (ie- lust, lying, cursing, etc), and he was buried, and raised from the dead to give us eternal life and a HOME in heaven... if we repent of our sins and put faith in Him, He will save us from sin and eternity in the lake of fire. And we must follow Him by His Word in obedience.
As for the home: This unit is part of the Highlands Cooperative Association. I've been living here since 2016 and it has been great! Quiet area. Park very very close with playground and tennis courts. Great area to walk by yourself or with family/friends. The maintenance people do a great job and fix things usually right away If something were to not work. There's been a few times where the standpipe in the basement has overflown due to maybe roots blocking it and they've come over and taken care of it. Screen door wasn't shutting one time and they got to it like the next day. Meijers is like 5 minutes down the road along with other stores and restaurants. Same for the highway.
They somewhat recently installed a new fridge, new stove, and new front and back doors with screen doors. Parking lot recently redone (maybe last summer).. They do a great job keeping up with the grounds as well.
The initial payment for whatever the seller (myself) wants to sell for is to pay for the buyer to purchase the membership at Highland, and to pay seller for any custom things that were added on by the owner or previous owner.
Some things that have been added on that are not part of the Highlands: AC unit, vinyl flooring in the kitchen, double deep well sink in the kitchen with spray faucet, custom interior doors (like bedroom and bi-fold closet doors), dishwasher, fresh paint job on kitchen cabinets).
One has to get approved through application process of the highlands. The carrying charge per month, depending on how much you make, is around $700. And that includes everything except electric! For a three bedroom!! I believe Highlands told me that one needs to make three times the amount per month of the carrying charge. So that would be around $2,100 a month. But don't let that deter you. See if you can talk with them and they might make exceptions or if you're on assistance or have section 8 they might work with you, as when I moved in here this was maybe subsidized housing and the carrying charge amount was based on how much you were bringing in as a household. So if you brought in less than a certain amount you got to pay less. Not sure if it's still that way because I wasn't bringing in more than three times the carrying charge when I came in.
Three levels! Basement can be finished if you'd like and can get it approved by the Highlands. I've been able to live with like up to 6 other guys in this place.
Third bedroom and biggest one still need to get pictures of. Guy still needs to tidy up for them.
Open to negotiations about the price. If you want to see the floor plan or to get other questions answered, feel free to visit the website below or message me. Just note that the floor plan does not show the basement.... So PLENTY of space for storage!
This particular unit is not on their website as I still have to go through the pre-inspection and then they can post it on there. I'm just getting it on here to get the ball rolling. I'm open to showing to anyone even if you haven't put in an application to see if you even like it, to know if you want to put in an application.
