This is a tiny cabin located on 10 amazingly beautiful acres in a remote gated community with a year round creek. The cedar cabin is unique in just about every way. I built it myself and I have to say it turned out nicely and functions perfectly. I could write a novel about my lovely cabin but I will try to abbreviate things! The cabin is cedar inside and out. The outside is clad in cedar siding and was finished with perilla oil. Perilla is a plant based oil that is completely non toxic and does not off gas. The interior has tongue and groove cedar walls and ceilings. There are oak floors throughout. The kitchen is equipped with regular appliances not the motorhome sized stuff you see in most tiny homes. There are oak countertops and shelves. There are hangers above the stove for pots and pans. People have drooled over my kitchen sink due to it's incredible depth and functionality. The bathroom is one of my favorite places! I positioned the windows specifically for attaining the best view from the clawfoot tub. Yes, I did say clawfoot tub! I rescued her from a backyard and spent weeks refinishing her. What a job! But, it was worth it for those long, peaceful soaks. And, if you want to soak in the tub for 17 days you'll never run out of hot water. I installed a 27KW on demand hot water heater! The bathroom also comes equipped with many hooks. Who gets dressed in their bedroom? No me! So, why would I keep my clothes in the bedroom? I don't. I keep them in the bathroom so that they are ready when I emerge from my heavenly bath. The washer and dryer are located adjacent to the bathroom. Dirty clothes never even have to touch the floor. They can go directly into the wash before jumping in the bath. The "great room" houses the living room and dining room. There is a petite wood stove that keeps the cabin toasty with little effort. By toasty I mean running around barefoot in a tank top in the dead of winter! The alpaca fiber I used for insulation works wonderfully. I built a wood shed on the back of the cabin and the wood loads in through the window that is right next to the wood stove onto a nice metal shelf. No more mess! The upstairs houses 2 bedrooms but there is no wall separating the 2 spaces. There are plenty of windows and light. No toxic chemicals were used in any stage of construction. The benefits don't stop at the cabin. There is a 10x12 cedar shed. There is an 8x8 cedar pump house that houses a variety of tools and implements. Both have power. There is a cedar animal shelter with approximately an acre fenced for animals. It successfully keeps in goats and alpacas. The shelter has a built-in hay feeder and grain troughs. There is a fenced garden area of roughly 1/4 acre that is entirely organic. Within the garden is a vineyard of about 30 grapes. The majority are muscadine but there are a few wine varieties as well. Recently added are 2 pinot noir clones and 2 Jupiter vines. The raspberry patch is quite large with 5 different varieties. Of course, there is a section with herbs too! Beyond the garden is the orchard. I can't even remember how many varieties I've planted. There are apples, pears, cherries, American filbert, Italian plum, fig... The entire garden and orchard is surrounded by clumping bamboo. In a few more years this will form a wide, tall, natural fence that will keep out all critters. For about 3 years I worked for a nursery so you can imagine how many thousands of dollars of plants, trees and flowers I've accumulated over time. I could go on and on! I'm happy to answer any questions so feel free to ask. Recently added is a 14x20 workshop/ event space. It's entirely cedar just like the cabin. There's so much potential here! Brand new 18x24 greenhouse too!! **Some of the photos are during the construction phase** Low taxes and lots of privacy. Possible short term owner financing.
