Sabbatical Paradise! This is a really nice house in a great neighborhood, almost right across the street from Mt Rose Elementary School and close to Plumas Park. Our Lady of the Snows Catholic church and school adjoins the park, and we are only about 1/2 mi from the S. Virginia St Mid-Town district and about 1 mi from Wingfield Park, the Truckee River and Downtown. I love living here because it is so walkable/bikeable, safe and quiet. We are located back off the main street in the alley, which means the only people and cars that go by are the ones that belong here. Main floor- living room, dining room, kitchen, full bathroom, laundry. 2nd floor- two bedrooms, loft area, full bathroom with standard tub and shower. Here's the deal- I've been using this as a short-term rental and I've about had it with the problems that come with that. I'm looking for someone to live here more long-term. As a former short-term rental, it is FULLY FURNISED. That means in addition to washer and drier it comes with two large screen TV's, fiber internet connection, Wi-Fi, beds, tables, chairs, dressers, right down to the silverware in the kitchen, art on the walls and the sheets and pillowcases on the beds. It is all just as pictured. Owner pays all utilities including sewer, water, gas, electricity, internet, lawn care and trash collection. The house is technically a single-family residence with a master bedroom suite above the garages separated from the main part of the house by a double "hotel" style door. The owner, me, lives part-time in the master suite. The advantage of this is extra security for your packages or when you want to be gone for a weekend or a week, free lawn maintenance and ready access for any maintenance issues that may come up.
