    Welcome to The Oasis a private one-bedroom carriage house above a detached three-car garage, tucked into a wooded homestead in South Manassas. This isn't a basement unit and it isn't in a subdivision. The apartment sits above its own oversized three-bay garage at the end of a long, tree-lined gravel drive surrounded by mature woods and visited regularly by deer. With an office/additional bedroom, this cozy apartment can flex to fit your needs. You'll have your own private stairwell entrance, your own patio and backyard, and your own oversized garage bay with room for vehicles, bikes, kayaks, tools, or all of the above. We call it "the oasis" because it feels miles from anywhere, but you're only minutes from the grocery, restaurants, and shopping at Stonebridge / Potomac Town Center, with quick access to I-95, Route 234, and the VRE for commuters. The apartment (~920 sq ft): modern kitchen, living room plus a separate den that works as a home office or kids room, dining nook, primary bedroom with full bath and walk-in closet, updated half bath, full-size stacked washer/dryer, private patio, oversized garage bay with additional storage, plus a driveway space. The homestead: we live in the main house next door and keep chickens, honey bees, and a seasonal vegetable garden. Fresh eggs, honey, and produce are often available to share. Quiet, fenced in places, full of trees somewhere you can actually hear the birds in the morning. Included with rent: electricity (covered up to $200/month historical median around $115), water and sewer, trash, lawn care, high-speed internet, heating and cooling. Lease: 12-month preferred, flexible terms considered for the right tenant. Dogs case-by-case (small additional deposit and pet rent). Background and credit check, $50 application fee. Renter's insurance required. Non-smoking, no short-term rentals.
