Stay on the lake and enjoy water-skiing and fishing, or take a day trip to one of the amazing hikes close to the lake. One of our favorites is Mt. Pilchuck. You can leave the lake in the morning and summit in time to have lunch at 5,324 feet at the fire lookout. It is a strenuous climb but there is no need for special gear.
