Our historic cabin, built as part of the original Maxwelton Resort in the 1940s - has been updated in the last few years with a new bathroom with a soaking tub, (shower too)- an upgraded kitchen including (YAY!) a dishwasher. New floors, new washer/dryer/heat pump/all new plumbing, mostly new electrical, and more. High-end treadmill for rainy day workouts. Two people maximum. The bedroom is small with a super comfy queen-sized bed and a nice view. small closet with shelves and a built-in bookcase/clothes shelf. There is a 2nd bedroom for having an occasional guest. There is also a bonus room with a washer/dryer and treadmill and space to store things. I have room in my 8 by 10 shed for storage of bikes etc. The living room has a sweet wood stove that is very cozy and throws out a ton of heat. The cabin heat source is a new heat pump. We are one short block to the beach entrance where you can enjoy miles of sandy, easy-walking beach, and stunning sunsets. The backyard of the cabin borders a protected habitat where you will enjoy watching the eagles and other wildlife. There's a fire pit in the yard. It's a serene and peaceful setting. We are 9 miles from the quaint seaside town of Langley - with its main streets filled with art galleries, cafes, restaurants, fun shops, bookstores, and more. One or two renters only, please.
