    What's special

Prime hunting land located in sinking valley PA, full of squirrels, deer, and turkeys. Thickets, timber, hollows, draws, creek, thickets, laurels, several openings for food plots, apple orchard little bit of everything for game. Several areas would suit a camp, water could be drawn from a creek in one cleared area that we were planning on putting a cabin which flows year round, two right aways to the property through an Amish farm. Farmer keeps an eye on things so there is no trouble with vandals, poachers or leaving equipment on property. About 34 minutes from Beaver Stadium, 25 minutes from Lake Raystown, 10 minutes from Altoona and Tyrone, 5 minutes from Bellwood, 8 minutes from Sinking Valley Golf Course. This was part of the Detweiler farm which was know for high concentrations of whitetail and turkeys. Foresters have appraised the timber value at $35,000 expected to double in 10 years due to strip of black walnut. Mostly chestnut oaks with white oaks and cherry mixed in as well.
