Numerous parks and a bike path encompass Lake Okeechobee, which is touted to have the best bass fishing in the country. Minimum rental is two weeks for $750. Monthly is $1200, and bookings begin and end on Saturdays (available year round). Trash, water, sewer, propane for cooking, and electricity up to $100 per month included, but there is an additional cleaning fee of $100 for all bookings regardless of length of stay. Any electric over $100 will be billed monthly (We have never been an electric bill over $100 as of the date this is written). Refundable deposit of $500 required for short term stays (30 days or less), $1000 for rentals over 30 days. Requires an application that must be approved by the Community HOA. Small dogs allowed with additional deposit. No Smoking deposit will be forfeited if residence has been smoked in.
