IT APPEARS THAT THIS HOME HAS BEEN SOLD. I just moved out on Friday and showed it this morning to someone who was anxious to purchase it. She has offered the asking price, expects to have it inspected this week, and therefore we should be signing contracts within a week or two. I have already called the people who had called and e-mailed me to let THEM know, and if for any reason there is a change in plans (that does happen for all sorts of legitimate reasons), then I will post the photos that I took of the home this morning (now that it is empty) and re-list it. Keeping that in mind, this was the information about the house: It is a house (with its own garage), and NOT A CONDO, on one level in a quiet and private 55+ gated community that is responsible for your roof; gutter cleaning; driveway; snow removal from front door to road; lawn mowing, treatment, weeding, watering and leaf clearing; the sprinkling system, security system, etc. for $400 monthly fee. You have use of pool, clubhouse, private walking path ("The Paseo"), exercise room, private bus, tennis courts. Home has open floor plan, sliding glass doors to patio, and is situated in very quiet and private cul-de-sac. It is attached to an exact duplicate house on its right (the garages separate the homes). In spite of being attached, you cannot hear anything that is happening next door (washer, TV, music, bathrooms, etc.). Taxes with basic star should be approx. $4,403. (Buyer pays one-time $1,500 Administration fee directly to HOA). The photos are of this home just before I moved in November 2018, and I replaced all carpeting with laminate flooring (see 2 photos I added re floor). I frankly wouldn't be moving from here now, but for a family crisis. I was first attracted to this community because of its walking trail, and I'm still enthused about it. I am an avid walker, and this is the first time in my entire life that I have been able to walk a trail that I love AT NIGHT! The Paseo has lamp lighting all along the trail, and the trail is a paved path, so I have not felt unsafe even at night. Also, since everything outside is handled for me, I feel very secure about continuing to own a home of my own. In addition, most 55+ homes only had windows in the front and the back of the home, so I felt like I was in a cave in most of the rooms. Not here! Even from my bathroom I can look out my windows.
