This house has a great location. It is on the top of seahome hill and has 80+ acres of arboretum woods as the back yard. It has a great view. In 10-15 minutes you can walk to WWU, to downtown, and to restaurants and the co-op grocery store. The yard is super private, super quiet and has lots of wildlife. The house is 100 years old, and has all the charm and pitfalls of an old house. It has sloped roof bedrooms on the upper story, making for short head clearance. It only has one bathroom. There is no dishwasher; you are the dishwasher ;). lol. The washer and dryer are in the basement and access brings you outside and down stairs to reach. However the house does have a partial basement for storage, and a partially converted garage bonus room that has been used for many different purposes. There is a large deck that offers great views and good sun. There is enough space to park 5 or more cars. Most people who end up living here feel that it is a special place, I agree whole heartedly with them! Rent is $2500. Security Deposit is $3750 (1.5x of rent). Deposit and last months rent due upon signing. First months rent due upon move in. Tenants pay all utilities. Smoking is not allowed indoors. Pets may be allowed...however there is an additional pet deposit, part of which is non-refundable, an additional pet addendum to the lease, and pets must qualify. They must be spayed or neutered. They must be at least two years old with no behavior issues. All tenants must be ok with the pet addendum terms.
