Bathroom The bathroom is a complete redo with an extra deep tub, high-power toilet, granite countertops with solid wood cabinet faces, and multiple LED lighting options. Master bedroom The master bedroom has a new expanded walk-in closet with French doors. A 36-inch solid core door to the main entry keeps the room quiet. We use it as a big home office for two. Living room The huge living room is a great space for entertaining. New windows and a new lighting plan with theater style lighting that illuminates without creating glare on the TV. Includes a large coat closet. Walkout Basement The huge dry basement has a high ceiling and easily accommodates a workshoshop, storage, and bonus space. New windows and bright white walls and ceilings make it an inviting space. Tons of LED can lights ensure even, bright light. Windows All new double-pane windows (including in the basement). Window openings were resized to standard sizes making future service easier. New construction windows were used for a better seal than remodeling windows. Electrical House has entirely new grounded electrical and panel with upgraded 200A service. Outlets everywhere. Tons of circuits mean you never have to worry about a breaker flipping or old wiring. A 60A 240V socket in the garage for electric cars, RVs, welder, or a branch circuit, if you add more garage. Roof Replaced in 2016 with Owens Corning Oakridge Estate Gray shingles with an expected lifespan of 30+ years. Plumbing All plumbing has been replaced. There is great pressure; everything drains right and is vented correctly. Le-Ax water, currently on septic but soon sewer will be installed in the neighborhood, which will add value to the house (inside plumbing is ready). New oversized, high-efficiency 50-gallon hot water heater is easy on the bills and provides basically endless hot water. New water softener ensures no mineral buildup. Well and pump for outdoor watering. Furnace/AC The high efficiency furnace got a new motor and fan blade; AC has been serviced and should last for years. A smart thermostat saves energy and can be controlled from your phone. Smart house Everything in the house works like normal by a regular switch, but most of the house can also be easily controlled with your phone or voice. Most light switches in the house are smart and can be turned on, off or dimmed. Door locks are automated with a backup pin pad; no need to carry a key. The Heat/AC is smart as are the garbage disposal, smoke detectors, and garage door. What's left A few things that we have not finished, since we were not expecting to move so soon. The inside is done but the outside could use a little help. The breezeway between the garage and the kitchen is not finished, but it does not affect the livability of the house inside.
