A little on the location of the home! It is located right on the line of Soddy-Daisy and Hixson. There are several schools within 5-10 minutes of the house, including: Daisy Elementary School, Soddy Daisy High School, Seqouyah Vocational High School, McConnell Elementary School, Daisy Elementary School and Soddy Middle School. The property lies in a quiet, safe area with very respectful neighbors. There are several groceries stores within 10 minutes from all directions of the home. This adorable home sits on completely flat land measuring 0.45 acre. The property backs into a little creek lining the back edge of the property with a gorgeous tree line of oaks and dogwoods. There is an in-ground fireplace sitting inside the massive fence (built July 2022). As far as the landscaping, we pulled up all the river rock that was previously set and, in July 2022, replaced it with pine straw in the back yard and dark brown mulch in the front yard. The bushes that are planted are very low maintenance as well. There is a large barn/shed that will be staying with the home and is very suitable to be flipped into a mother-in law suit, a she-shed, or a good ole fashioned man cave. A few mundane things to note on the outside of the house: the front and side porch floor boards were re-painted just this week, a fan was installed into the side porch ceiling in 2021, the roof and HVAC are 6 years old, there is a new 18'X8' porch on the back of the house, and all gutters were just cleaned, resealed and re-secured this week. Moving into the inside of the home... every inch of this house was sanded, re-caulked, and re-painted in 2021. The structural beams located in the kitchen and living room were gutted, verified structurally intact and encased with new beautiful deep oak wood. Within the cabinets you will find a glorious Lazy Susan and a deep, two can, pull out trash can. The kitchen is equipped with all black gas stove, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator that will be staying with the home. The counters are granite counter tops as well. The windows have all been re-sealed and recently equipped with brand new bamboo and faux wood blinds. The front door was replaced in 2021 and is equipped with a smart lock. In 2021 we installed an LED can light that has several lighting settings into the hallway, new ceiling fans in both bedrooms, a large LED light in the laundry room, a new light fixture in the bathroom (with Edison bulbs), and replaced several of the receptacles. The house is secured with ADT security systems and has all new fire and CO2 alarms. As far as storage, there is a closet in each bedroom; one has been redesigned and can fit mine and my husband clothes comfortably and the other is more of a linen closet but can hold a lot! Both bedrooms have barn doors with new track systems (the 2nd bedroom barn door is not hung but we do have it to hang back up). The second bedroom also has a full dark brown headboard installed into the wall and will be staying with the home. The bathroom has a single vanity with a full tub and shower, but there is plenty room to install a double vanity. The toilet has a bidet attached and will be staying with the home as well. The last room of the house is the laundry room! It has washer and dryer plug ins that are up to code as my husband who was an electrician re-ran and installed the wiring and receptacles. The washer and dryer are both very large Whirlpools and can be left with the house upon request (add on price will be negotiated at that time). Lastly, the floors, a mixture of laminate, hardwoods, and tile flooring, sits on a foundational crawlspace.
