What the owner loves about this home
My husband and I spent five years initiating various remodeling projects on my childhood home in anticipation that the home would always house beloved family members. Due to health issues, no family member will reside there. Since the renovations were initially targeted for beloved family members, a great deal of time and care was taken and no detail overlooked. For example, ALL rooms were freshly painted in April 2022. Afterwards, new hinges were placed on ALL doors and new covers were placed on ALL outlets and switches.
ALL of the closets were primed and painted in February and March 2022 and include ClosetMaid closet systems and lights installed in April 2022. ALL new 10-year smoke detectors were installed on 10/9/22. Furthermore, any child who lives at this residence will attend the #1 ranked elementary school within Colonial Heights City Public Schools. U.S. News & World Report ranks Tussing Elementary School as #377 in Virginia's elementary schools out of 1,037. Although located on a quiet street, this house is about a mile and a half away from shopping and dining locations.
