The spacious living area features large windows and a sliding door that frame picturesque views of Hood Canal. Sink into the comfortable sofa and plush chairs to unwind after a day of exploration. Enjoy the wood burning stove and a movie on the smart television as you gather with friends or family at end the day. The fully-equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances and ample counter space, making meal preparation a breeze. Whether you're whipping up a hearty breakfast before a big day of hiking or enjoying a leisurely dinner with fresh seafood caught nearby, you'll find everything you need to satisfy your culinary cravings. Because the deck is covered, it can be enjoyed rain or shine. In the backyard see if you can spot the giant coastal redwoods along bluff! You'll also be drawn to the well-manicured hills behind the house, with walking trails and vista points. It's sure to make you feel like you have your own private garden during your stay. Two bedrooms offer comfortable sleeping arrangements for four guests. One bedroom is furnished with a plush queen-sized bed, while the second bedroom features a full. In the living room, the sofa opens to a full-sized sleeper to accommodate another couple of folks. There is a caretaker, who will respect your privacy, in a separate building on the property. Dogs, up to 40 pounds, are allowed with our per pet per night fee. ABOUT BELFAIR, UNION & HOOD CANAL The town of Belfair features plenty of activities for family fun. Belfair State Park, just 10 minutes by car, offers an opportunity to explore the shores of Hood Canal, by foot or paddle board, fly a kite or just enjoy a picnic by the water. In town, you'll find unique shops, wine tasting and a variety of restaurants. The nearby town of Union, about a 30 minute drive, also has much to offer visitors. It's the first non-native artist colony in the state of Washington and continues to attract artists of all kinds. You'll find a variety of restaurants and activities in the area, including the Alderbrook Golf Course. And Hood Canal will tempt you with to die for scenic views, endless recreational activities (hiking, biking, watersports), and the opportunity to explore the beauty and wonders of the Olympic Peninsula. Take a scenic hike where you'll be able to see the waterfront, the mountains, and possibly the sunset, too. Or go fishing or boating on the ever scenic Hood Canal. THE HOOD CANALS HIDEAWAYS PROMISE Hood Canal Hideaways is the only full-stack vacation rental management company in the area. We vow to make booking with us simple and exciting. We know that booking a rental property home for your vacation can be unfamiliar territory for some, while others know their way around it. Because we know this, we ensure that each of our properties is up to high-quality standards. We do our absolute best to provide support to our guests when booking. We are available to assist you every day of the year if you have any questions or concerns before, during or after your visit to our home. We have onsite property management available 24/7 for anything concerning that may arise. MANAGED: Property requires good behavior and adherence to instructions, house rules, terms, conditions, onsite instructions, and may require online registration, accidental damage protection, and electronic signature before final booking confirmation, or you may cancel before proceeding at that time. Instruction including access will be sent by email. Phones open 9am to 7pm every day. Unless otherwise arranged, check-in is between 5 and 7pm and check-out is before 11am. If dogs are allowed, they must be approved in advance, with a quantity, weight limit, and a per-dog, per-day fee. Due to government and owner requirements, occupancy may never exceed the number of registered guests, dogs and vehicles. Drop-in guests are not allowed. For security, there may be outwardly facing security cameras, capable of constant recording, and interior decibel meters to monitor noise. Bookings over 30 days or longer are with Prospera VIP.
