AVAILABLE NOVEMBER 1, 2026 This Studio Log Cabin, known as the GUEST CABIN, is 450 square feet, and is within a ten acre horse ranch, on one of the most beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Boone, North Carolina. Although the property is within 10 minutes from ASU and downtown Boone, it faces north, so there are no lights, and there is no noise from the Town. You will feel as if you are a million miles away. The GUEST CABIN is located near to the Main House, but is detached. It comes fully furnished, and has been newly decorated in the RALPH LAUREN EQUESTRIAN STYLE. It has long range mountain views, a full bath (tub and shower), a large/full kitchen, complete with a full size stove and convection oven, and a 3/4 refrigerator. A full size refrigerator will be installed by the lease commencement. It also has one King size bed and one Queen size air mattress, and sleeps 4. It is heated via electric radiant heaters, and has an air conditioner installed, usually from the months of June through October. It does have a small outdoor fire pit/wood grill and seating area where you can enjoy the view of the barns, horses (when at the property), and the mountains. A large fire pit is scheduled for install at the turn-around in the summer. The lease does include non-exclusive use of the Ranch's entire 10 acres, for hiking, foraging, star gazing and enjoying the wildlife. Excepted from the non-exclusive use, is the Main House, the barns, the decks on the Main House, and the connected structure. The long range mountain views will take your breath away, as will the deer, wild turkey and hummingbirds! It is a Stargazer's Dream, and in June thru July, the Fire Flies make the mountain and ranch sparkle!! The beautiful old gray barns are not fancy, but they are functional, and are reminiscent of Watauga County's ByGone era. Many beautiful horses, including Arabians, Saddlebreds, Friesians, and Wild Mustangs, have called Almost Heaven Ranch, "Home". Donner, a miniature donkey, and Blitzen, a miniature horse (yes, Donner and Blitzen), may be roaming and eager for a carrot or four! Location: within 10 minutes of ASU and Downtown Boone; and within 20 minutes of Blowing Rock and ski mountains. Available: NOVEMBER 1, 2026. No Security is required, however, First and Last two months' rent are due at signing of the lease. Water is included; Electric $150, WIFI and internet $50. Monthly expenditures are: Rent $1800, Electric $150 and WIFI/Internet $50. If there is a Pet, the monthly Pet Rent is $20 per Pet. There is a $350 exit cleaning fee that is required to be paid at commencement of the lease. Renters' horses are permitted, but only upon additional written conditions. The lease term may be three, six or twelve months.
