Charlottesville, VA: summer sublet (mid-May or June through July 31) 4 BD, 2 BR home. Rent the whole home ($3650/month) or rent individual rooms (at $1100 $1450 per room/month). My partner and I are moving states as I wrap up with law school. We are assisting our landlord in locating someone (or a group of someones!) to sublease the home from ideally beginning of June through July 31. The home could be available as early as mid-May (likely 5/20, though flexible). This would be a signed sublease agreement between the property owner, you, and ourselves. You would also meet and be screened by the property owner, who lives five minutes away and is incredibly organized and responsive. The place: 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. 1,998 sq ft. with big yard, tree swing, big storage basement, and private off-road parking. Can come furnished/unfurnished. Location: This is a wonderful location, that is right next to UVA and very walkable. 3 minutes from UVA Medical Center, UVA Law, and main grounds. 10 minutes from Amtrak train station. 5 minutes or less to three grocery stores (walking distance to Foods of All Nations). Whole home rent: $3,650 total/month for the whole home, however this is is negotiable. Rent for each room (all of below currently available. We will remove rooms as they're subletted): - Room 1: $1100 per month - fits one king bed, with sliding door closet, built in bookshelf and storage nook; has one large window - Room 2: $1250 per month - fits one king bed, with double door closet plus room for vanity and working desk; has one large window - Room 3: $1300 per month - fits one king bed, with sliding door closet plus room for vanity and working desk; has three medium windows - Room 4: $1450 per month - fits one king bed, with private master full bathroom plus walk-in closet with storage; has four medium windows Utilities: Roughly $250 a month for water, power, and AC, which would be calculated on a per-month usage basis. We'd be glad to discuss covering part of the utilities fee, including high-speed internet for both months. Amenities: Central A/C, Dishwasher, LG refrigerator/freezer, full kitchen, full washer and dryer in the basement, large backyard, large storage basement, off-road private parking, tree swing. Huge windows and 360 exposure to sunlight. Windows in every room, including in both bathrooms. Also in an extremely walkable location. It's a lovely and quiet house, and we've really enjoyed being here!
