Stainless steel appliances in the kitchen include all the basics plus a drink cooler to ensure you have plenty of beverages ready for guests to enjoy as they relax at the river. The front screened porch runs the length of the cabin offering river views and the opportunity watch deer as they roam on the two acres included with your rental. Comfortable seating for five is available on the porch in addition to seating for six at the table. Inside enjoy leather sofas as you relax in the rustic ambiance of heart pine floors and open beam ceilings. The downstairs features a 1 1/2 jack-and-Jill bathroom and two bedrooms. Each bedroom includes a queen size bed and comfortable chair for relaxing. The master bedroom was recently upgraded with Purple hybrid mattress perfect for individuals with back pain or who just enjoy a great night of sleep. Ascend the spiral staircase to access the loft equipped with an additional seating area with 55" smart TV, twin daybed, and office area with a monitor and wireless keyboard for telecommuting. The cottage features fiber internet and a mesh network to support accessibility in any of the living areas. The unit includes a stacked washer and dryer in the area adjacent to the kitchen. Some of the best parts of the river cottage are visible after you go outside. A rock patio sits at the edge of the river and is begging for you to relax as the water floats by. For anyone wanting to take a swim or gain easy access for kayaking, shared rock steps lead provide easy access into the river. There is a fire pit in the woods so you can enjoy the evening under the stars. Seasonal rentals only - no single weeks or weekends. Inquire for rental terms of 3-6 months. Rentals are available for the entire unit or, for traveling healthcare workers, we offer single bedroom rentals based on availability. For healthcare workers expect a 25 minute drive to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville or a 15 minute drive to Habersham County Medical Center. I have an openings between January 2026 and 2026 with a MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD AVAILABLE IS 3 MONTHS. (Zillow won't let me set the term to 3 months). Your rental includes water, internet and a $350 allowance for electric. Tenant is responsible for any electric bills exceeding $350 per month. No pets. The owner is renting their weekend home while it is not in use and has allergies that prevent allowing pets. For security, there are cameras on the exterior of the unit. Cameras are located on the exterior of the unit only. Tenants are granted access to the video feed for the duration of their stay. No smoking or vaping on the property (indoors or outdoors). Failure to comply with this policy will result in a $500 cleaning fee and immediate termination of the lease agreement. Parking is available for two cars. Please do not park to the rear of the cottage (even through there is gravel here, this is on top of the septic tank and could cause damage). Maximum overnight occupancy of the cottage is 3 people. This is due to limitations of the septic system and a measure implemented to protect the river environment impact from a septic failure from overuse. As of June 2024, the fireplace is waiting on repairs and is not functional. Upon checkout, please take out the trash and hang up any wet towels or linens as it may be several days before the cleaners arrive. Please remove all items from the refrigerator, freezer and cooler when you depart. Cottage should be left clean upon departure. If you prefer to pay a cleaner, the fee is $150.
