We are renting rooms in our multi-level single family home. The owners live on the upper two levels. For rent is the fully furnished downstairs area. The first floor area has 2 bedrooms (3rd possible) for rent (separately or combined) and shared living rooms, kitchenette, , bathroom, and laundry room. Lakefront property with shared wrap-around porch and garden with waterfall and pond. On the border to Indiana (Dyer and St. John). Background check required ($25). Price shown is for one bedroom, shared rooms, and all utilities. One person per bedroom.
Utilities and Internet are included in rent. Only one renter per bedroom. Overnight guests are allowed only five nights per month. All rooms are furnished, but renters provide their own linen, detergents, and similar items. Renters must adhere to "quiet, safe, clean environment" rules and take turns to perform common chores. Landlord will provide professional cleaning of common areas every two weeks, but anyone making this more costly than a standard cleaning will have to pay the difference. One year lease term is preferred, but we will consider a shorter term for an additional fee. Renters will be evaluated based on compatibility with other renters to avoid friction as much as possible.
