Historic carriage house/garden cottage located in the heart of Detroit. The unit is the carriage house of my Historic Detroit home. I do live on the grounds. Nestled in the gardens of a Historic Boston Edison mansion this home is a country retreat in the middle of Detroit. You'll enjoy a fully furnished and equipped unit to satisfy all your needs. There is a comfortable queen bed. A full kitchen with all major appliances. In unit washer and dryer. Private outdoor space with patio and gas grill. High Speed WiFi (1 gig). Den with Smart TV. Work station with second monitor, key board and mouse. There is a portable air conditioner to cool 800 sqft (100 sqft. larger than the unit). The unit comes with secure off street parking for one vehicle. Security deposit and first month's rent are due at lease signing. Lease terms are for 30 day minimums. Notification of desire to renew lease must be provided within 20 days of current lease's end. There is no subletting, lease signer and occupant must be the same person. No commercial use of the property is allowed. There are no pets allowed on the property. Over night guests are limited to no more than 3 consecutive nights in a 60 day period and no more than 5 nights total within a 90 day period. No large gatherings. Larger gatherings are identified as more than 5 (five) individuals including the tenant(s). There is no smoking in the unit or on the property.
