Roommate wanted for incredible house with a PRIVATE POOL near Hendricks Park. Available NOW. We are looking for 1 roommate to share our totally amazing and luxurious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a private pool in the Hendricks Park area (near the UofO). It is available now, but we want to find the RIGHT person to live with, so we're not necessarily in a rush. Location: Hendricks Park / south hills neighborhood (Southeast/SE Eugene), within walking or biking distance to the University of Oregon (UO). Super nice, quiet neighborhood with very low crime (but we have security cameras on the house just in case). You can see Hayward Field and Autzen Stadium From our front deck, but we are usually hanging out by the pool on the back deck, which is nestled in the trees and very private. Cost: $1100 per month, which includes ALL utilities (including internet, TV, garbage, gas, power, water, EVERYTHING). $500 refundable deposit. Month to month lease with at least 30 days notice prior to move-out. The House: This house is an architectural gem nestled in the trees and perfect for entertaining. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths (1 shared by 2 people), large kitchen with a dishwasher and open top range, huge dining room, huge living room, full bar, mud room, separate room with a washer & dryer, shed/storage, 2 fireplaces (1 wood, 1 electric), and 1 acre of private walking paths. It stays cool all summer due to all the trees and the elevation, and with the 2 fireplaces and central heating it is warm in the winter too. You will have full access to the entire house, all the amenities such as the electronics (high speed internet, HDTV with lots of paid subscriptions included, inside and outside stereo systems, record players, washer/dryer, etc.). The house is fully furnished (all dishes, kitchen stuff, furniture, etc.). The living room (see photos) has a sofa sleeper and we have curtains for all the windows so it is easily convertible into a guest room for your out-of-town guests, who you are welcome to have over any time. The dining room table extends to 10' and can seat 10. The bathroom in the pictures is the one you would be sharing with 1 other person. Your Room: The private (NOT shared) room is about 11x13 (140 square feet) with hardwood floors and is unfurnished (but if you need some items we may have them). The Swimming Pool: It's amazing. It is in-ground, heated, deep (10'), and totally private. You cannot see any other houses when you're swimming because the deck is suspended at mid-tree level, so it feels like you are swimming in the sky. And yes, that is a real disco ball suspended in thin air above the water. We also have outside speakers, lasers, and stage lighting that create quite the ambience. It is typically in use April-September, weather-dependent. DRAWBACKS: The closet is small (but we have an extra closet in the entryway), there is only room for 1 more vehicle, we have limited storage space inside the house and it is already fully furnished, so we can't store extra stuff, there is no AC (but it stays cool due to the canopy of trees covering the entire property), and NO PETS. Who we are: 2 professional guys (a lawyer and a restaurant owner) in our late thirties and early forties. We are friendly, outgoing, liberal minded guys. We don't have any kids, but we do have 1 small friendly dog (the only pet allowed). We are laid back, easy to get along with, and don't mind a bit of noise, but nothing TOO crazy. Month-to-month rental, ALL utilities included in $1,100/month rent, no pets, limit of 1 vehicle.
