Until 2005 the Jarman Quarry on County F produced some of the finest stone/gravel in northern Door. Though new mining permits will be needed, a great deal of the resource remains. Alternative uses are also possible: with appropriate permits, a recreational development could be created to take advantage of the massive quarry pit.
