Our house is located in the small, rural town of Garfield and has direct access to Beaver Lake. The house is located off a steep gravel road, 4-wheel drive is recommended. The driveway is steep, so a 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended. Lake is accessible by going down the stairs to the shoreline. Dock access is strictly prohibited. For your safety and to avoid property violations, please do not enter or use the dock at any time. Please exercise caution to avoid creating overly large fires in either fire pit. Kindly refrain from lighting any fires during July or August. Countywide burn bans may be in effect during your stay, which could limit use of the fire pit. Water levels are subject to change at any time due to environmental factors outside of the host's control which may impact the accessibility and appearance of the lake. Cancelations due to water levels will not be honored outside of the cancelation policy. Guests are solely responsible for preparing for their stays accordingly by checking water levels ahead of their stays. House Rules that are strictly enforced: - Check-in is any time after 3:00 PM. - Parties or guest actions that result in disturbances, property damage, extensive extra cleaning, or smoking indoors will incur a fine of $1,000. - This property only allows dogs, with a maximum of 3, and requires a fee of $90 per dog to be paid prior to your stay. Dogs discovered at the property without prior notice or cats discovered at the property will incur a fine of $400. - Unauthorized checkout delays will incur a fine of $100 per hour. - This is a non-smoking home. If you smoke in the home, you will be fined $1,000 plus the cost of any smoke remediation necessary. - Refunds for unused services such as pet fees, event fees, early checkin, and late checkout fees, are subject to the same cancellation policy that applies. - There is a QR code located on or near the refrigerator. It provides helpful information about your stay, including house rules, WiFi details, amenity instructions, important phone numbers, and answers to common questions.
