This land is in the top 5 I've seen in my career as far as peaceful, pastoral settings with spectacular views goes. It reminds me of Ireland, with its lush rolling hills, and open pastures bordered by stone walls and mature trees, both on the property and filling the distant view. There are 4 clearings, each different from one another, presenting interesting opportunities. Even the approach is fabulous. Head Road includes plenty of large landowners, with names that have lived in the area for many generations. Fields of corn grow tall along Hess Road (the road before Head Rd) at the end of the summer, and the occasional hum of a tractor is evidence this is farm country. And yet the property is under 10 minutes to delightful Callicoon along the Delaware River.
