Perfect for a traveling professional, remote worker, or someone temporarily relocating to Milwaukee, the home offers a comfortable place to unwind after work and enjoy everyday life in one of the area's most charming neighborhoods. Located on a residential street in Wauwatosa, you'll be close to local coffee shops, restaurants, groceries, and the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center, with convenient access to downtown Milwaukee. Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a queen bed. Bedroom 2 has a daybed with a trundle (each with a twin mattress). This can be retained if you want to use it or I can remove it and just have the desk in the second bedroom, if you prefer. Parking is included: 1 spot in the 3 stall garage (other two spots are for upstairs tenants). 1 uncovered spot next to the garage. Laundry and Storage: A frontload washer + dryer is located in the basement. The basement is divided into two areas and you will have exclusive access to one of the areas which features tons of storage space. Please note that the basement does not have separate locked doors. WiFi + Work Station: Fiber AT&T wifi is included. You will also have access to my Flexispot standing/sitting desk and a walk pad (walking treadmill). Fully stocked kitchen including: Full sized refrigerator and freezer with an ice maker. Full sized electric stove and oven with vent. Microwave, air fryer, hot water kettle, crockpot, etc. Snow removal: - Driveway taken care of by the landlord. - Tenants are asked to salt and remove light snow (less than 1.5") from walkways for safety (shared responsibility with upstairs tenant) A few other notes: - This is the lower unit in a duplex. The upstairs neighbors are a couple with a cat. They are very quiet and good neighbors and I want to make sure I find someone to be a good neighbor to them, too. - If you love plants and would be willing to water mine once a week, that would be lovely. If not, I can remove them from the home while you're there. - I have a small dog. I will have the apartment professionally cleaned before your move in but you may find a few dog hairs here and there. - I am open to a renter with a pet. Tell me about them and we can discuss if it's a good fit! - Ideally seeking one renter for the full three-month period. This is my home and all my belongings and so finding a responsible person who I can trust is my top priority. I am willing to be flexible on price and dates for the right tenant. Minimum stay of 30 days, with preference for a renter interested in the full three-month period. Flexible dates and rental arrangements may be considered. Rent: $2,200/month, including all utilities (gas, electricity, water, and fiber Wi-Fi). Security Deposit: $1,400 refundable security deposit. Renters insurance required throughout the stay. Parking: Includes one space in a shared garage and one additional uncovered parking space. Snow Removal: Landlord handles driveway snow removal. Tenants share responsibility for salting walkways and clearing light snowfall (less than 1.5 inches) for safety. Pets: Considered on a case-by-case basis with prior approval. Smoking: No smoking or vaping permitted inside the property. Screening and Lease: Rental application, background screening, and signed short-term sublease agreement required. Subletting is authorized by the property owner. Laundry and Storage: Private washer and dryer located in the basement, exclusively for the tenant's use. The tenant also has a designated basement storage area. The basement is divided into separate areas for each unit, but the areas do not have individually locking doors. Second Bedroom: Can be furnished with a twin daybed and trundle or configured primarily as an office, depending on the renter's needs. Care of Property: Tenants are expected to care for the home, furnishings, and personal belongings, maintain the property in good condition, and be respectful of the upstairs neighbors and shared spaces.
