    What's special

    Original part - first floor dining room and kitchen with three small second floor bedrooms was built in 1910. An addition was done sometime in the 1930s that added a first floor large room and another second floor bedroom. Another addition was added sometime in the 1970s that added a first floor living room and second floor master bedroom with large walk-in closet. Another addition was done by the current owners in 2004 that added space to the first floor living room. The last addition was an attached heated two car garage with an 11' x 14' heated breezway built in 2013. Roof was replaced as a complete tear-off, new roof sheathing and 30 year shingles in 2002. Complete vinyl siding was installed 2005 with new aluminum soffit and facia wrap, all of the windows have been replaced beginning around 1998, most are Anderson, the large curved top living room window is a Pella, there are a couple of Jeld-Wen. All windows have exterior aluminum wrap to be maintenance free. The kitchen was remodeled in 1999 with new appliances including a built in oven that's 4 feet off the floor. The first floor laundry is in a separate smaller room directly off the kitchen with a gas fired dryer. There is a water softener and Helenbrand iron filtration system that does the entire house. All appliances can be included with the sale. There are nine zones of hydronic heat, the entire first floor including the garage and breezeway are heated in the floor, the second floor is heated with baseboard heat. The power vented LP gas fired boiler was installed in 1999. The Fujitsu "mini-split" central air conditioning heats and cools, is done with three indoor heads and one outdoor condenser. There is room on the condenser to install one more indoor head but the three heads do the entire house very well except for one second floor bedroom where we cool with a small window unit. The A/C was installed in 2014. There is a decorative and functional pellet stove in the living room. The attic is accessed through pull-down staircase, is lit with a number of 100 watt light fixtures controlled by one switch. The septic tank and mound system leach bed were installed in 2016. There is a 27' round above ground heated swimming pool with a deck around 1/3. The liner was replaced in 2016, the pump, filter and heater are actually meant for an inground pool. There is a bottom drain in the center of the 5'6" dished bottom and the pool return is in the opposite side of the pool from the the skimmer so the filtration is superb. The bottom is made of vermiculite light weight concrete. The 80' x 37' barn is in very good condition, there is also a 25' 50' granary that's in fair condition and a small animal shelter structure. There are two 1-1/2 acre partially pastures as part of the 5.33 total acreage. A forest of mature evergreen trees surrounds much of the property with significant coverage to the north of the house.
