Large one bedroom rental with vaulted ceilings and a view from private deck on the top floor of a cabin with a private entry. The cabin has outside seating areas with a panoramic view of mountain ranges and trees. The cabin is on about 1/2 an acre with lots of trees and open spaces. It is fully furnished with about everything you might need, including a washer and dryer in the building, plenty of off street parking, an outside picnic bench and seating and BBQ and a full kitchen and bathroom with a bath and shower. The monthly rent is $1100 plus a $200 flat amount for water, trash, internet, propane. Electricity varies greatly by month, so it is proportioned by tenant. (Rate based on one occupant.) Deposit $500. Looking for tenant with verifiable income and decent credit score (above 650 -- lower credit score considered with first and last months rent paid in advance.) Month to month rental. The kitchen includes a new refrigerator, four burner electric stove and oven and appliances including air fryer, microwave, coffee maker, toast, dishes, microwave. The floor in the bathroom is tile but the rental is primarily carpet. Running Springs is a mountain community about 15 minutes up the hill on 330 on the way to Big Bear. The elevation is about 5000 feet. It is peaceful and quiet and you will often see deer. Ideal for one person. Not ideal for a dog or cat as there is no outside pet access in the tenant's absence. Not ideal for a remote worker requiring internet access at all times as Southern California Edison has been known to turn off the electricity and there is no generator available. Someone accustomed to mountain living is ideal. Cell coverage with AT&T and other carriers is generally excellent, and internet through Spectrum is usually excellent and fast. Parking is flat. The rental period is month to month, and 30 days notice can be given at any time (by landlord or tenant) if it turns out it is not a good fit, however, a long term rental (six months to a year) is anticipated but not required. Snow removal is not included in the rent but the streets are plowed by the community and there are cleared parking spots about a four minute walk at the clubhouse if there is a lot of snow. Looking for tenant with decent credit score and income, but if credit score is low will consider renting with first and last month's rent paid in advance.
