Come enjoy the best of what Green Lake has to offer in this in this modern 4000sf house situated just two blocks northeast of the lake. The house has six (6) full-time tenants plus a part-time tenant who doesn't use the kitchen. The house features cherry hardwoods in the commons areas, a spacious kitchen with separated cooktop/oven, three (3) refrigerators, breakfast area, TV room, vaulted living room, laundry room with stacked LG washer/dryer, thermostatic shower values, and dimmer controlled lighting throughout. There's also a large deck in the backyard, perfect for summer BBQs. Here are the available rooms:
1st floor northwest (303sf, $1025): Cherry hardwood, windows facing different directions, and wet bar with mini refrigerator. A three quarters bathroom is shared between the other 1st floor bedroom. Dimensions: 17' x 13'9" main area (plus add'l footage for closet and wet bar). (This room is available June 1st.)
2nd floor west (176sf, $800): Plush carpeting and two windows facing different directions. A full bathroom is shared between the 2nd floor southwest and west bedrooms. Dimensions: 11' x 16' (including closet). (This room is available June 1.)
Heating is forced air. Free street parking is available in front of the house, and metro routes 45, 62 are nearby. It's also a 15min walk to the Roosevelt light rail station.
The existing roommates are all working professionals in their 20s and early 30s. Everyone generally keeps to themselves, with some light socializing in the commons areas. The housemates are mellow and low-drama...we ask you to be as well. When things come up, we talk things through and come up with a solution. Everyone is reasonable and rationale, and we look forward to meeting you!
Rent is first/last month's rent plus a security deposit equal to one month's rent, and an $50 application fee. Utilities are shared equally between all tenants based on a monthly escrow system. (Basically, I withdraw a standard amount per month and then deduct from that as I receive bills. Any excess is returned at the end of the lease. Currently, utilities work out to around $95/mo.)
Please note the following tenant requirements:
- Provide three (3) months proof of income covering four (4) times cost of rent + utilities
- Undergo a landlord initiated credit check which returns a 740+ score
- Provide past professional and landlord references, none of which convey negative feedback
- Participate in a positive meet & greet with the existing roommates
- (Tenant provided screening reports are not accepted)
Lease would be through June 2027, and rent will be withdrawn using an ACH direct debit system. No pets or smoking of any kind, please. When responding, please introduce yourself, what you like to do for fun, and what you're looking for in a shared living situation.
