The Madrona Mini-Compound is a fully-furnished live/work space - with a cozy garden apartment, and just steps away, a lovely office or work space, perfect for a therapist, massage or acupuncture practitioner, creative professional, designer, artist, or anyone who wants to work from home without having their work inside their home. The Mini-Compound includes approximately 1,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, including your own large private garden, outdoor lounge and greenhouse. Clients can park in your private driveway, enter a gate and go directly into your 375 square foot office, while your private apartment remains completely separate. Please note: the studio does not have a bathroom. The Mini-Compound's one bathroom is located in the main apartment, approximately a 10-second walk away. OUTDOORS Enjoy your own private outdoor lounge space, off-street parking, and a tranquil 13-foot greenhouse filled with herbs, and tomatoes. In season, we also have raspberries, grapes, apples, and plums for you to pick. We provide everything you need, including: Linens, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Hairdryer, First-aid kit, Iron and Ironing board, Washer + Dryer, Detergent, Dishes, Pots, Pans, Olive oil, Spices, and a stacked coffee bar with caff and decaf pods, Stevia, Demarra sugar cubes, and milk frother. The Neighborhood Madrona is a beloved Seattle gem. Just a 2-minute stroll to 34th Street brings you to yoga and pilates studios, boutiques, a seafood market, Red Cow by Ethan Stowell, Cafe Soleil, Vendemmia, and other fantastic local spots. Outdoor lovers will appreciate the nearby trails and breathtaking views of Lake Washington. Pets: We love dogs, and they are absolutely allowed subject to approval. If you have a dog, please let me know before you book. We cannot allow dogs who are anxious and will be left alone. Bringing dogs without prior communication will mean your booking is subject to cancellation. Due to allergies we do not accept cats. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the driveway, the garden, the outdoor lounge area, the apt, the greenhouse, and the guesthouse. Other things to note The apt is a basement MIL, and thus it is slightly quirky, but the space is cozy and has what you need. If you are 6' or over, there are a few places where you will need to duck your head. No Drugs, Smoking/Vaping, e-cigarettes, anywhere, inside, or outside within the property environment (backyard, garden, lounge area). If you are a heavy smoker, or you vape, this property is not a good fit. The rent is all-inclusive. Month to month. One, three, and six month leases considered. Cleaning fee: $90/month. Dogs are welcome and will either have a pet fee, extra cleaning fee, or non-refundable pet deposit depending on length of stay.
