Well, there is only one word that fits when describing this farm, SUPERIOR! Access to the prime hunting tract starts on its eastern edge, where there is a gated entrance that takes you through the row of mature pines that lines the roadside. These pines act as a road block as well as thermal cover. It is normal to drive by on cold winter days and see several deer bedded just off the road under the thermal protection of these pines. From there, you walk into a field of native grass that has an elevated, brand-new 360 blind set up overlooking a Rye food plot. This grass field acts as bedding, but does offer some outstanding building sites, if building your dream home on a whitetail deer and turkey mecca sounds like something you want to do! Not to mention it can also be easily turned into tillable acres, pasture or additional food plots! Now walking west, you'll notice the outstanding pond on the property, stocked with panfish and bass! The pond's northern edge consists of thick brush that acts as the natural bedding area for the wildlife. There you'll also notice another elevated box blind that covers this thick bedding area. Walking west again into the mature hardwood timbered portion of the farm, you notice right away an elevation change. There is a hardwood ridge that runs through the middle of the timber. This ridge is loaded with hard maples ready to set up for harvesting the maple syrup they are known for producing in the Spring. During the rest of the year, it acts as a natural corridor and staging area for the whitetails and a roosting area for the Turkeys. Still moving west, you notice the property drops in elevation into a thick, nasty swamp area, which also acts as another bedding area. Moving south now, you travel on established trails that move you along the top of the hardwood ridge into another grass field. Here you'll find another box blind and established food plot. Again, this area provides excellent building sites, tillable acres, pasture acres or places for additional food plots. This farm is truly one of a kind; harvest pictures prove giants for this area roam this farm! Please call for a showing! It will not last long!
