If you're looking for a classic deer camp, surrounded by thousands of acres of state and corporate timberland, near dozens of fish infested inland lakes, and miles of rivers and streams, plus very few humanoids; this is the spot! (AND it's not going to break your bank account:) I don't think you can find a better grouse spot anywhere in the Midwest that's this easy to get to. Sawyer International Airport is just 36 miles away as the crow flies and Ford Airport near Iron MTN/Kingsford is barely a 1/2 Hour drive BUT, when you're at camp all that and the stress of just getting by in this crazy world that we're all living in everyday will feel like it's a million miles away!
