Stay in a fully furnished 3-level home in Columbia Heights, DC. The house is available for short term rental between January 10 and early-April (flexible end date) for $3,500/month with utilities included. Absolutely no smoking allowed. On the main level enjoy the open floor plan with a quaint living room, dining table and fully stocked kitchen. My place has 2 bedrooms (1 queen bed, 1 double bed) that share an upstairs bathroom. There is a workspace and an additional .5 bath in the basement. A cute front patio with a bistro table for two allows for a breath of fresh air in the middle of the city. I'm traveling and renting my place while I'm gone. As such, you'll see signs that its lived in--condiments in the fridge, freezer and pantry; spices on the racks, and personal touches throughout the house. Relax and enjoy the space, and please treat it as you would your own! You'll have access to the full house except for an upstairs office, which is not pictured. One visitor parking pass is available for street parking. Transportation Street parking is available for 1 car. The location provides easy access and transportation connections throughout DC. The Columbia Heights Metro Station (green/yellow line) is 10 minutes away walking. The main north/south bus lines on Georgia Avenue/7th ST NW (D40/D4X) are just steps away and a short ride to downtown DC and the National Mall. The Neighborhood There are two small pocket parks on the street, one with a playground perfect for small children. The house is located near Bruce Monroe Park (tennis and basketball courts, playground), and Banneker Recreation Center (track, tennis and basketball courts, baseball diamond, playground, outdoor pool.) The Columbia Heights Mall and metro station is a less-than-10-minute walk, where you'll find staples like Target, Marshalls, Best Buy, Giant grocery store, Starbucks and restaurants. You're only a 10-minute walk from the Whole Foods and U St NW dining and nightlight. It's a short walk to Howard University, the Medstar Washington Hospital Center, Children's National Hospital, and the Washington VA Hospital.
