This is a Type 1 Fishing Stream. There are eight water falls on the sections of the Huron River, four carry-in canoe access points, and three historical stream fish stocking sites. The sugar sand beach at the mouth of the river will remind you of California! Trees Common In The Area Include: Balsam fir, Big tooth aspen, Eastern hemlock, Paper birch, Quaking aspen, Red maple, Sugar maple, White spruce and Yellow birch.
