Unfortunately the MLS does not accept payment receipts to verify copyright or right to use photos. If the photos were previously listed anywhere, the MLS requires written verification from the previous agent that the seller maintains the right to use the photos. The MLS does not police disputes between sellers and agents as to who owns the rights to photos and so this is what they require. We do note this on our photo upload page and we understand that this is a confusing requirement if you paid for the photos. After we reviewed what you provided we had requested them from you again with no response until you called back. You requested a cancelation, we immediately canceled your listing and refunded you any money that you had paid. We're sorry that you had a negative experience. Best of luck in your home sale.
