Todd, It is not uncommon in real estate practice to allow the buyers, and the buying agent to attend the inspection without the listing agent. I did want the buyer’s to have the right to examine the home without restriction. In response to someone from my company putting a large sign in your front yard without your permission. It is customary for real estate companies to advertise their listings in the form of a yard sign. This is to promote the listing, as well as provide contact information to any person who may drive by. In response to me taking zero photos of the listing- If you can recall, I allocated you a buyer before we officially got the home live on the market. We immediately went under contract before the photography process. Since we were under contract, I assumed photography was no longer necessary. The MLS does legally require 1 photo of the home. I asked you to take a front photo for compliance purposes. Just to note- I have always hired professional photographers. In response to my commission- During the listing appointment I had with you, I discussed my rate, and we also had that documented in the paperwork you signed. If you were not comfortable with my rate, I would've preferred you discussing it with me prior to signing. In your review, you failed to include that I spent a span of two years showing you a multitude of properties, until you ultimately decided not to buy a home. Lastly, to address your final comment, you requested to have my sign taken down out of your yard. I did put that request in immediately with my sign company. Unfortunately, they are very busy and it took time for them to come out and take it down. In conclusion, I take pride in my work, and go above and beyond for my clients. I was very responsive, and diligently took care of your home sale. I apologize that the experience was unsatisfactory to you, and you felt it deserved a 1 star rating.
