Hi Shenghan, thank you for taking the time to write this review about your experience as a first-time seller. I have worked with many first-time buyers and sellers over the years and have found that communication is the top priority for clients. That's why I check in with them weekly, just as I did when your home was listed, providing updates, calling other agents to see if they observed activity on their listings, and having conversations with you to make adjustments. Once under contract, my transaction coordinator and I continued to communicate to help you understand the status of the buyer's loan and what you needed to do according to the purchase agreement. Those weekly check-ins always ended with me asking, "What questions do you have for me?" However, based on the number of stars you gave, it seems that negotiation skills are the main concern. This has been a challenging market for many sellers due to high rates, and your price point is ideal for first-time buyers who request seller concessions to help them purchase a home. The sale of your home was one of the smoothest transactions an agent can wish for, and the numbers and terms aligned with the current market. I understand it may not feel that way because you bought in a seller's market, but in a buyer's market, the experience would be different. And yes, due to the last-minute scheduling of your signing, some minor issues arose. However, the key point missing is that I pushed back a previously scheduled appointment when you called, and I came to your signing to re-review the Settlement Statement and answer all your questions about the total in person. No revisions were made to the Settlement Statement once we reviewed it together. If you have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me, as your feedback and possible closure could be beneficial for both of us.
