Rebecca Heron moved to Eugene from the small town of Joseph, OR.

She studied Early Childhood Education at Sonoma State University. Part of AOII Sorority, she held the leadership positions of Secretary and Keeper of the Ritual. Her third year of college was spent in Ghana, Africa, where she competed in swim tournaments on the school's swim team. She completed her last semester of college in India where she performed in Bollywood dances.
