After signing a contract on a home with a contingency for a Storm water management problem developer was having with the county, Emails and calls were ignored! Writing a Contract, making it "Contingent" on defects & issues to be corrected by the County, such as the SWM was indeed disclosed, & by signing, it declares acceptance of the correction during the time it takes to have the Loan Approved. Sadly, your Loan could NOT be approved. I am sorry if you feel that everyone lied to you, but it was written as a Contingency & you were showed the plat where you signed the plat with your name. Hopefully, some day in the Future, when you become "Approved" for HomeOwnership, I hope all goes well for you! All the Best!
