I'm sorry. Not everyone can qualify for available apartments. As the District Property Manager for Sawyer Property Management, not "Owner" I do not set rent prices, I enforce them on behalf of the owner(s). Their pricing is based off the current "Market Rate". What is "Market Rate"? That is the pricing of similar apartments in neighboring communities. I also work and network with other landlords who also base their rents off Market Rate. I do not discriminate in any which way shape or form. Qualifications for a good rental candidate on behalf on any landlord/owners is as follows. 1. Rental History... 2. Income Qualify 3. Credit History... Every landlord/owner has their own criteria for accepting a probable tenant when it comes to your credit. What I always say to residents and owners is, no current eviction showing you "might" be ok especially if you have a strong income.
