I felt both sad and appreciative while reading your review. You are absolutely right; buying a home, especially your first one, is a significant milestone. I take your feedback seriously, and I’m so very sorry that the process wasn’t smoother for you. You raise important points for improvement, particularly regarding communication. Yes, we navigated some road bumps during the transaction, some were my fault and some related to delays with the seller. I have met with my team to address several key areas for improvement. And, my offer stands to compensate you for a new security system and 3 months of service. On balance, I’m so glad I proactively advocated for you to win this great home, on your terms and close on time. I adjusted my schedule to ensure we were the first showing the day it hit the market. I collaborated with the listing team on a winning deal to go under contract before 17 other showings could see it that first weekend - overcoming the seller’s initial hesitancy. During the course of the transaction, I provided counsel and strategic advice on the inspection items, which is always tricky in older homes, resulting in all of your requests being completed. I handled the stressful last-minute hurdles and open items to ensure we closed on time, per contract. And the home appraised for over the contract price, giving you instant equity. Yes, there were times when it was a stressful scramble to tie up loose ends. But respectfully, I’m confused when I followed up with the listing team, lender, title company, and inspector, and they reported no issues with my work. It would have been very helpful to collaborate with your family friend, but you didn't provide contact information when I offered to include her on communications. I share all of this not to dispute your feelings, but to provide facts and context from my perspective. I take my reputation very seriously and want nothing more than to satisfy my clients. I know there is room for improvement, but I also believe I delivered in many important aspects. Again, I apologize for your experience and hope you enjoy that great new home.
