I'm so sorry you mistook my asking you to rate each house on a scale from 1-10 for pushy tactics; that's what trained agents do to get your feedback, and to be effective in our search. I asked you to pick out 5 must-haves in a home, and coached you in your search by teaching you to place a home that meets 95% of those must-haves in your top three choices. While your husband formed his opinion on the house, I politely informed you I had to leave soon. I represented you with considerable skill and care by asking the listing agent if the one discrepancy you had with the home could be fixed. It's a common misconception that we can't ask questions without revealing motivation; one of the listing agent's roles is to simply answer questions. I called with your questions, NOT with an offer. I never mentioned your price, terms, or motivation. Please don’t forget that I spent over two weeks searching with you, even though you couldn’t even get pre-approved to buy until your other house sold.
