Get to know Dan Wolf
I was born in Palmer, Alaska, about an hour north of Anchorage, where my family owned a small farm close to the Knik River, a few miles from "The Butte" in the (semi-)famous Matanuska Valley, home to world class cabbage and potatoes. My grandparents were dairy farmers from Wisconsin who moved to the area in 1935 as homesteaders, part of a Depression era land grant program to incentivize folks in the lower 48 to head north and find new beginnings....
