I pride myself of providing excellent customer service. I gave them frank honest good advice about the value of their property. Their property yielded the 2nd highest closed price in their subdivision over the past year. Their initial asking price was $299K. We reduced the price once to $292K, and it sold for FULL price in just 50 days which is 39 days less than the ave market time. I communicated from the beginning to the end and attended the closing. I did direct them to call their closer to answer a question after the closing because the closer was the only person qualified to answer their question. I made some repairs, and even cut my commission so they could take money from closing vs. bringing money to closing. They were 1st time home sellers, and I think their upset was born out of an unrealistic expectation of market value. The good news is, their house sold, and for top dollar in a short period of time. I wish them the very best of success in the future.
