Hi Ashley Chorath – This is quite a departure from the 5-star review following the last transaction. I must respectfully correct several of your claims. Every term of your offer — including the waiver of the inspection contingency — was thoroughly discussed, reviewed, and approved by Andrew Tiu. At times, strong professional advice can be misinterpreted as pressure, but ultimately, all final decisions rested with the buyer after reviewing the available options. It's hard to reconcile the claim of being "not aware" with having signed a legal contract that clearly outlined the terms. Despite a highly competitive, multiple-offer environment, I successfully negotiated a contract price well below the list price and secured seller repairs — an uncommon result for a non-contingent offer. My goal throughout was to help you win the home while protecting your interests wherever possible. After your complaint, my broker conducted a full review of the transaction and found no violations of professional standards, and expressed full support for how I handled the transaction. While I normally continue assisting clients post-closing, in this case I followed legal counsel’s guidance — which aligned with that of other parties involved — and did not engage further. I understand home buying can be emotional and complex. That said, the full record of communications and signed documents supports that I acted with professionalism, diligence, and transparency throughout the process. I stand firmly behind my representation.
