I’m honestly disappointed to see this review, especially after how much time and effort I put into helping with this sale. I take every transaction seriously and work hard to guide my clients with transparency, professionalism, and care. I also understand that real estate can be emotional and not everyone will walk away with the same perspective. To clear a few things up: From the beginning I stayed in consistent communication with hundreds of texts, hours of phone calls, emails and follow-ups throughout the process. The sign was placed exactly where it needed to be right at the edge of the property line, in front of the fence and not near the porch. Any further would’ve put it in the city’s easement and I confirmed that ahead of time. The statement about not receiving clear numbers or timelines is not accurate. At his request, I promptly reached out to escrow and provided a detailed estimated closing statement the same day. I also shared transaction timelines and communicated consistently throughout the process to ensure he was fully informed. Providing clarity and transparency is something I take seriously and I approached this transaction no differently. Immediately after the buyers completed their inspection, I called their agent to see how it went and immediately started reaching out to contractors so we could get ahead of any issues. I let the seller know I was doing that. He asked me to come over in person right away but I explained we should wait until we received the actual inspection report. I’m not a contractor and I didn’t want to give guesses without facts I was just trying to handle it responsibly. We successfully negotiate some credits to help cover the repair work but there were also a couple things the seller had agreed to do himself that didn’t get completed. After we closed, I paid for those out of pocket after closing to make sure the buyers weren’t left in a bad spot. Lastly, he mentioned that I didn’t care but he initially suggested a much larger price reduction and I talked him out of it. I believed in the value of his home and advised a more strategic price, which ended up bringing in multiple offers. That was about doing right by the client. It’s unfortunate this review doesn’t reflect the actual work put in or the successful outcome we achieved but I hope others can see the bigger picture. I know not every transaction ends perfectly but I gave this everything I had. I cared about the outcome, stayed proactive and kept a clear line of communication the whole way through. While I can’t control how people choose to respond, I stand by the way I handled this transaction and the integrity I brought to it.
