It was a pleasure helping Justin, Kristy and their darling son Nolan find a suitable property for their move from Silicon Valley to the PNW. We considered several different spots until we zeroed in on a location convenient to Justin's work (Microsoft) and downtown Redmond, right off the Sammamish River Trail. We executed an agreement with the seller. Justin's loan docs were at escrow two weeks ahead of our scheduled close, and we made an effort to close ahead of schedule. Getting the seller, who was living out of the country signed during a pandemic, proved problematic. Without contractual grounds to enforce our position, we were at the mercy of the seller. We still managed to close a week ahead of our contractual close date, but at an inconvenience to Justin's family who'd planned to move in several days earlier.

Ellen and Anuj were a joy to work with. Ellen's effervescent free spirit and Anuj's exacting analytical approach complement each other so well. This was Ellen and Anuj's first home. We got them set up with FHA financing through Highlands Mortgage and started making offers on cute homes with naturalistic surroundings within 30 minutes of downtown Bellevue (Amazon). After several attempts, we caught a lucky break. One of the homes we liked best and had lost out on, fell out of contract. The seller, not wanting to go back active on the market, reached out to us and we signed a contract that same day on terms we'd offered a month earlier. Congratulations to the new homeowners and double congratulations on the new addition to your family!

I've known Brandon for over fifteen years. Our worlds have intersected in a half dozen different ways. I've watched him evolve from a competent loan officer to tireless entrepreneur to CEO of a successful local telecom startup. Over the years we've built a multifamily portfolio, purchased a primary residence, dipped our toes in the pool of commercial real estate and, with this buy, secured a ski-in/ski-out vacation home. Julie proved her mettle with this project. Battling cancer, a flaky contractor, out-of-line in-laws (mine), and crazy-making pandemic disruption, Julie completed a strategic remodel of this home... and came in under budget. ?? As a result, our sales price resulted in over 150K additional proceeds more than my pre-remodel estimates.
